What do you need before Verifying your Domain?
- You’ll need to have admin access to a Facebook Business Manager. If you do not have a Facebook Business Manager, check out our tutorial here.
- You’ll need to have a website you’ve already set up for your business and access to your server or website editor if you’re able to.
What you need to know
Given the changes recently due to iOS 14 for Facebook, this has become a standard requirement if you are looking to setup your Facebook Pixel and run conversion or traffic based campaigns. In order to create a Facebook Pixel, you would need to have a verified domain.
In this tutorial, we’ll cover how to verify your domain.
Domain verification is simple, l but we do note that it does require a bit of knowledge in terms of website. You would need to have access to either your website HTML files (this can be easily done so if you are using a web editor such as squarespace, wix, wordpress, etc) or your server. But in the case that your website is built by a developer or is managed by someone else, we highly recommend that you contact them and use pass the necessary information over to them.
