Pre-requisite for WhatsApp Broadcast #
1. Make sure you have at least 1 active WhatsApp inbox. Read here on how to setup a new WhatsApp inbox.
2. Check if you have sufficient credit in your account. Broadcast will consume credit. Read here on how to check and top-up your account.
3. Create a template message which you’ll use as your broadcast content. You can use rich interactive messages such as this in your broadcast. Read here on how to create template messages
4. Please wait until WhatsApp approves your template messages. A green indicator will appear once your message is approved
How to Schedule a WhatsApp Broadcast #
- Click on the Campaign button at the left menu bar
- Click on Broadcast. Then click on the Create a new Broadcast button, a pop-up screen will appear.
- Type in your campaign’s title. The campaign title is merely for internal naming purposes. It will not be visible to your audience.
- Select a WhatsApp inbox
- Similar to Canned Response, type in “/” and select the template messages you had created earlier
- Select your campaign’s recipient using the segmentation filter. Segmentation filters allow you to easily select recipients instead of choosing phone numbers individually. For example, you can choose to send a broadcast message to all customers who had purchased more than X amount from you, or all prospects within the negotiation phase. - Select the broadcast time. Broadcast time must be scheduled 3 days in advance. Your messages will be automatically send during the specified time.
- Click on the “Create” button. Your scheduled broadcast will be listed as “pending” in the broadcast list. No charges will be incurred until actual delivery. If you changed your mind before the scheduled time, click on “Delete” to cancel the broadcast.
How to schedule an Email Broadcast #

2.Make sure that you have sufficient credit in your account. Broadcast will consume credit. Read here on how to check and top-up your account.
3. Click on the Campaign button at the left menu bar
4. Click on Broadcast, followed by Create a new Broadcast
5. Type in your campaign’s title. The campaign title is merely for internal naming purposes. It will not be visible to your audience.
6. Select an Email inbox
7. Type in your broadcast message. Similar to Canned Response, you can use macro to personalize your message. Read more about message personalization here.

Will there be charges for fail deliveries? #
Peasy will make 3 delivery attempts. Credits for undeliverable messages will be refunded back to your account.

How can I clean my database? #
Broadcast is an excellent way to cull and filter contacts within invalid phone number/email address from your contact. Before your broadcast, create an automation which will automatically set the contact status to “Disqualified” if a message fails to deliver. Read more on creating automation here.
How can I cancel a broadcast? #
- Click on “Campaign” in the left menu bar.
- Select “Broadcast”
- Locate the Broadcast campaign you wish to cancel. You can delete campaigns which are “Active”. Completed campaigns cannot be delete.
