Enabling Chatbot #

Pre-requisite:

  • Valid channel inbox
  • Sufficient credit balance

To enable your chatbot on Peasy Sales web, follow below steps:

1. Setup your chatbot. If you are not using the express chatbot. Otherwise, refer here for express chatbot setup.

    1. Navigate to the “Campaign” section in your Peasy Sales dashboard.

    2. Click on “Chatbot Flow” and then click “Create New Flow”.

    3. Design your chatbot using the available nodes and templates. Click here for further reference on nodes and templates for chatbot.

Tips #1: At your first node, use Condition Node to do 2 things. 1) To filter any group of customers you wish to interact according to their contact attributes. 2) To include your custom attribute to indicate the chatbot flow activation. For example, custom attribute, msgbot is Empty.

Tips #2: Copy your chatbot name from the chatbot list. You will need this information to link it to the Action section on your automation.

3. Create an Automation Rule to Trigger the Chatbot:

    1. Go to “Settings” on the side bar on the left side of the screen.

    2. Click “Automation”. Click “Add Automation Rule”.
    3. Create a new automation with the following settings:

      • Refer here for further reference on how to create automation on Peasy Sales. Event Type: Choose the appropriate event (e.g., “Event Created”).

Tips: At your Actions section, choose “Assign a bot”, and copy and paste your chatbot name from the Tips#2 on enabling chatbot. Don’t forget to choose your desired channel inbox as well. This way, your chatbot can function on conversation coming from that specific desired inbox.

4. Test your chatbot.

    1. Import your contact number into Peasy Sales platform, and use back the condition you set for the automation to trigger your chatbot. Click here for more references.

Disabling Chatbot #

Pre-requisite:

  • Has existing automation
  • Has existing conversation with chatbot interaction

To disable your chatbot on Peasy Sales web, follow below steps:

1. Use the msgbot Custom Attribute:

    1. In your contact’s profile, set the msgbot custom attribute to off (if you are setting your chatbot flow with the above given Tips #1 on enabling chatbot). This will prevent the chatbot from engaging with that contact. ​

2. Modify Automation Rules:

    1. Go to “Settings” on the side bar on the left side of the screen.

    2. Click “Automation”. Go to your automation that triggered the chatbot flow. Click the pen icon to Edit.
    3. Edit the existing automation rules to exclude certain conditions or remove the action that triggers the chatbot.

3. Test your chatbot flow.

    1. Go to your contact number conversation in Peasy Sales platform, and use back the condition you set for the automation to trigger your chatbot. Click here for more references.

On Peasy Sales Application #

Enabling Chatbot #

  • Has existing customer’s conversation with chatbot interaction

To enable your chatbot on Peasy Sales application for specific customer, follow below steps:

1. Use the msgbot Custom Attribute:

    1. From Peasy Sales Dashboard, go to Contact.
    2. Select the customer you want to exclude from chatbot interactions.
    3. Set the msgbot custom attribute to on (if you are setting your chatbot flow with the above given tips on enabling chatbot).
    4. Request customer to do the action that will trigger your automation.

To enable your chatbot for your overall Peasy Sales operation, kindly login to your Peasy Sales web using this, and follow instructions above.
